【 Company News 】 On February 5, 2025?operation-resuming ceremony of Global New Material International was held in Liuzhou factory. Su?Ertian, Board Chairman and?Chief Executive Officer of Global New Material International, together with management?team?and all employees of Chesir Pearlescent Material Co., Ltd, gathered together to celebrate this event.
A good and smooth beginning ensures success
The ceremony was permeated with a festive and peaceful atmosphere.???Su?Ertian first extended New Year’s wishes to GNMI?employees and their families and expressed heartfelt thanks to those?who remained at?their posts?during Chinese Spring Festival. He pointed out that in 2024, with joint efforts of all employees, GNMI made remarkable achievements?by realizing deep integration with CQV, achieving?double-digit sales growth, expanding overseas sales?to more than 100 countries, and successfully completing?the merger and acquisition of German Merck’s superficial solution business, a solid step?towards?globalization.
Three major?tasks to guarantee?transition and integration
Su?Ertian stressed that 2025 was of great importance?for GNMI, transition and integration are top priority.?He demanded?all employees to focus on three major tasks and go all out to win this “tough battle” :
- Risk freetransition: legal and financial teams strictly control the process to ensure seamless transfer of patents, technology and customer resources; Factories make production capacitysimulation?and adaptation in advance to ensure technological introduction and integration with?global production system.
- Integrated operation: In March, cross-departmental exchange and communication workshopswill be launched to promote the mutual recognition of production standards home and abroad, sharesupply chain and customer resources, and accelerate the integration process with Chinese efficiency?and?German precision.
- One familyculture: GNMI production sites around the world?will initiate?the program of Cultural?Month, Chinese team introduced overseas production process management experience?while?German side participated in quality review system?to build a global?team through two-way integration.
Following?three principles?to build the cornerstone?for?development
Su?Ertian pointed out that in order to achieve the annual goal, we must adhere to the following three principles:
- Safety first. Upon resuming plant operation, we will conduct a comprehensive checkonpotential hazards in production line, strictly implement international safety standards, and ensure?a safe?working environment for?all employees.
- Innovation-driven. We will increase R&D investment, promote ?intelligent renovation of Chesir’s phase IIplant anddigitization construction of Zhejiang?Hongzun,collaborate with?overseas counterparts?to develop cutting-edge technology?to build GNMI?a dominant position in global high-end manufacturing?industry.
- Team collaboration. Integration is everyone’s responsibility in GNMI.From workshopin Liuzhou?of Guangxi, China?to lab?in Philadelphia?of USA，from Darmstadt?in Germany to CQV?in South Korea, all GNMI colleagues should break down geographical barrier?and collaborate?to forge?our?global competitiveness.
Upon the successful conclusion of the?ceremony, the production line resumed operation. With enthusiasm, ambitious morale and?pragmatic?mindset, all GNMI?colleagues will?spare no effort in turning?integration blueprint into reality, and strive to achieve strategic goal of globalization.
